Choose your private-message style
Use the messaging layout that works best for you.

Open your user settings
Find the private-messaging style preference in the user settings.

Choose a style
Choose floating window style or the original Chat Buddy messaging layout.

Return to conversations
Open a private chat again to use your chosen layout.

Change your mind
You can switch back from the same setting.
Good to know
Some window behaviour differs between mobile and desktop. If a menu is clipped, try the main settings area.
